About IronMan
IronMan
was first created in 1963, with his debut in the comic series "
Tales of Suspense" (#39 in March, 1963). IronMan was created by the same talented
designers that created The Fantastic Four, Spiderman, Thor and many other well
known super heroes. The IronMan super creation team was made up of Stan Lee,
Larry Lieber, Don Heck and Jack Kirby.
IronMan's alter ego is multi-billionaire Anthony Edward "Tony" Stark. His father
was the ceo of a weapons creation company, which Tony then took over at the age
of 21. IronMan team affiliations are many and he has been associated with Stark
Industries, Avengers, Mighty Avengers, New Avengers, West Coast Avengers,
Illuminati, SH.I.E.L.D and the Department of Defense.
IronMan abilities include genius level intelligence and cyberpathic link with
powered armor. When in his IronMan suit, his granted powered armor allows for
super strength, flight and energy blasts.
